BMW 330Ci convertible – The Honeymoon Phase

No matter how good a first date goes, it is simply too early to know if that’s your forever person. They might seem like the one tonight, but who knows what’s hiding behind that pretty face and that vibrant personality? Two individuals must spend a LOT of time together before knowing if they will spend the rest of their lives with one another. Wait long enough and the barriers will fall; the slightly weird and unusual side of their personalities will come out and that’s when you’ll find out all the little things you never would have discovered on the first date.
For example: They might never clean their car, their favourite music to listen to might be K-pop or, they might put the toilet roll facing the wrong way.
We all have quirks, some are quickly noticed and some take years to find, but a functioning relationship is a relationship that thrives despite the quirks.

You might be wondering what does all of this have to do with cars. Well, I recently bought myself a 2001 BMW 330Ci convertible, and I really enjoy driving it. I haven’t owned a car that excites me so much in a while, and I needed to write a mini-article, fueled with passion and hope, about my joyful first week of ownership.
Thanks to my newly acquired hindsight, I realise that I’m acting like a teenager right after a date with his crush.
I am having a really good time driving the Bimmer, but I’m in the honeymoon phase of my ownership. It’s too early to know if I will keep this car for a long time. I need to discover some of the quirks that might arise when the blinding feeling of a new and exciting purchase fades away.
Either way, I’m happy right now, so I will appreciate it while it lasts.

Full review coming soon.
